Ex-Wales Rugby international Paul Turner approached Dischro Creative with a brief to create a brand that could appeal to both young people who play sport along with clubs and schools who run teams. The client gave guidance on colours to use and provided us with core values to inform our development of the brand image.
The first stage of proofing was carried out based on both full colour and monochrome examples, in order to ensure the chosen option would translate well across all mediums and through any potential uses.
Once the style was agreed upon, we finished developing the image and put together a set of brand guidelines detailing appropriate use. We then designed various elements such as business cards and compliment slips, prior to beginning work on the website layout, for which we had also been commissioned.
The website was coded in-house and all front end assets were created as the layout came together; this allowed us to come up with creative ways of displaying the image across various sections of the site.
The final stage was the creation of banners and backgrounds for use across social media; however on the strength of this project we have since been asked to put together artwork for numerous events and masterclasses being run by Paul Turner Sports.
We continue to build the relationship and are currently working with the client to create a promotional pack for a long term project they expect to run throughout next year.
